Exhaust

Alright guys i need some help with the legalities of bolting on a catless exahust. I live in rhode island and can't seem to find out of it's illegal to run a catless exhaust. If anyone knows the answer to that it would be greatly appreciated.

Second...
i need a few ideas for exhausts.
Say if catless exahust are legal in RI which should i get for the best overall mustang rumble?

Say catless exhaust are illegal which should i get with the best overall sound?

What i really need to know is if off road pipes are illegal in RI and i Cant seem to find out that info. If you know the answer or can find out please lmk. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums. Running catless is illegal ijn all 50 states unless your car is on trailer being towed to the track. That doesn't mean people don't do it anyway. That is a federal law, not a state one.

Second. for a fox I would recommend a prochamber or O/R (off road) H pipe.

the better question is do you have to get emmisions testing done where they would find that you have a catless exhaust.

i have a catless h-pipe and had to do emissions testing last summer, but i kept the stock h-pipe to throw back on.

Thats probably what ill end up doing unless theres an exhaust with cats that's almost as loud as the catless... any suggestions?

If you don't feel like swapping out mid pipes, you could just get one with high flow cats. It won't be as loud as a catless one. But it will sound a million times better than the stock one and you can pass emissions.

IMO, buy catless but keep your stock mid-pipe for when testing comes around.
