I can tell you how or confirm a diagram you have. I have done a few of them.

what i have been told is to basically hook up the green, black and yellow wire just like they are.
then find where the black and orange wires meet cut and ad your main 4-guage(?) wire from the new pig tail that is on the 3g alternator? |

The white wire runs back to the stator.
The yellow wire goes to an ignition source. The green wire runs to the idiot light. I ran a new battery cable from the alt. to the starter solenoid. Walmart sells battery cables for lawn mowers that work great.

honestly i would just go for the one wire setup. Pa performance has a 1 wire voltage regualtor that doesn't require a wire up for the idot light (500ohm resistor blah blah)
Super easy hook up. White is stator, red is batt +, and power wire to solenoid/battery

go with the new 6g instead.....fits in the same bracket, its lighter, and the kit i bought came with a new 4 gauge wire fuse and the new plug that you just splice into the factory plug....worked great and looks better than 3g IMO

PA-Performance is dedicated to offering high quality products to every consumer utilizing the Internet. - PA Performance - You Only Buy Quality Once ! 1.877.471.8010
Get this then go to your local welding shop for some 4 gauge wire and about 30 minutes later it's done. Simple. |
