pulley swap on an s-trim

I recently purchased a smaller pulley to take advantage of low compression and being able to run more boost. How do I get the old pulley off. I do realize it looks as simple as unbolting the pulley, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't more to it.

to pull a pulley you need to purchase a pulley puller and proceed to personally pull the pulley.

So just unscrew that bolt then get a pulley puller. Then just put the new one on and tighten it up?

3 18mm bolts that hold the tension bracket/wheel (wrench) leave them loose
1 14mm bolt on the front of the pulley (impact wrench)
slide off (dont lose the key)
slide the new one on, put the belt back on and get everything tight again
then go rip on it
15 minute job

thats what my s trim was for my 94 gt

thank you very much. Should be the same. Sounds just right without looking at the blower. Can that 14mm bolt come out with out an impact gun?

yeah its about your only hope, otherwise it will just turn whatever way you try to if using a regular wrench/socket, usually i have a buddy hold the pulley with some nice grippy gloves and put the impact on it and it spins right out

That to. I had a 3.33 and am going to a 3.00. The blelt I have is retarded tight. I have the extra adjustable screw belt tensioner, and I had to take it off, have my huge friend hold the belt down with tension then swrew the tensioner to the bracket to hold it down. So I may give it a try.

If it's even a little loose it's GONE. Because of a big belt idk what my car made on 10psi.

prolly the pulley pulling will propigate a pulled pulley, preload the pully puller to possibly eliminate the probibility of a pulley puller falling off. prepetually tighten the puller pulley, till said puller is pulled. Prepare to install new pully.

Hey lind. How did you fit an impact gun between theradiator and blower?

And hatch I will soon enough... Im just missing a aftermarket tach. I haven't been able to work in to weeks due to having an abscess. I just got medical attention so I'll be back on my feet in no time.
