I register my car in a diffrent county. In IN, there are only 2 smog countys. Its a huge pain, but I doo it anyway.

They should have a Hobby plate or somthing, pay a lil more, with no emissions. I'd give a few hundo for that.

Maybe treefitty.

I love Indiana because of that. I'm pretty close to you too. I'm over In Marshall County.

I think it is BS. THe EPA lists lake and porter county as chicagoland area. So chicagos levels are averaged with lake and porter county. I think its just a taxation thing because of the steel mills.

Well thank go I live in Michigan cause my smog pump is gutted and the lines are cut and plugged off to run BBK long tubes. So I think I might fail

when you use the little filter breather on your valve covers will that reduce emissions?

Don't feel too bad, I went to reinspect with 2 rear bald tires and bad brakes up front and they failed me for a broken blade; which they broke in the first place by using the blade on dry glass. lol

from my expierience, the easiest way to pass a sniffer is fresh cats.

Yes we do, but if its 1975 or newer, you still get the sniffer. And I dont wanna wait 6 yrs.

In north carolina (some counties) you only have to be smogged if it's obd2.
