Best Lower intake?


Does anyone have any flow reports or know what the best flowing lower intake is? Im having a custom sheetmetal upper made and need to know what lower I want it to mount to... Ideas?

347, TFTW heads, custom cam, procharger w/ roughly 16psi or so...

My bad... but to answer his question ( and this is nothing more than my mere speculation ) a ported gt40/cobra would flow pretty damn good.

prolly a victor EFI, I'd skip the box upper, and go to a carb manifold based efi one.

I think the truck 302 lowers are very close to the holly systemax. You could prolly find one pretty cheap too.

You better know what intake you have before you have a cam cut.

Thanks for the input guys... I haven't had a can cut yet as I want to get all the details put together before I order anything for my new motor. I talk to striker motors about my build but since I'm unsure of all the details I haven't finalized anything yet. So no one has any flow reports on different lowers ( which I know is hard since the details will vary on the upper as well ).

It depends on what you are building. Why are you doing a sheet metal upper?
