i've got this same problem but what happened was i took my dash out to swap from an 85mph speedo to a 140mph speedo and when i pulled it out the wires on the back of the hazard switch plug came undone. So i bought a new switch and wired it up and everything worked(incorrectly but worked none the less) but now its grounding out somewhere. Long story short, check your wiring.

There is a round silver relay in the fuse box for the blinker. You probably need a new one. If you took anything apart then i would check what you took apart.

Check the wiring on the hazard switch.
