need a couple quick opinions on gt40ps

Alright gonna go look at a set of gt40p heads here in about 30 mins. Guy is askin 400. I am takin 300 and seeing if he bites. But I still dont know if they are worth that much. They have been heavily ported and freshened up by a local mustang shop so they are pretty good to go. But they dont come with the rockers or pushtubes. So I just want opinions on value. Guy has a set of 1.6 motorsport rockers with tubes he wants an extra 100 for. what do you guys think? worth my money?

What the f are push tubes??

300 if they have a fresh mill,valve job and the port work isnt hacked.

You most likely will run into p/v clearance if you still have the 86 block with flat tops.

push rods. These are for my 91. but 3 bills is worth it?

200 on rockers..

or spend 800 for a set of used twisted wedges on corral... hmmmmmmm

agreed that would be a better buy. difference is, I dont have the extra expendable income at the moment. So maybe in the future. Plus its for my girlfriends car.

haha anniversary present. I have a turbo car so gt40ps wouldn't be real good for me

yes I did. They seem pretty fresh. supposed to be a surprise but she accidentally found them in my tool box in my truck so that part was shot.

used twisted wedges on corral for 800

were the hell did you see that because i have been looking all over corral for twisted wedge heads and 800 is about my budget

Leave it stock. If you plan on different heads in the future it would be foolish to waste the money on heads right now. Save the money and do the job once.
