seems too steep. Look like fair quality but not worth the price.

if you look at the website you see he has the distributor horizontally pinned to a valve cover?? that would be a great way to clean up the engine bay and minimalize it, whats the downs of this

i saw on another forum people talking about having no problems north of 7500 rpm's

also i thought a custom intake would be a good idea because he told me he can match the intake size to any throttle body i want to use

just thought custom would be a good idea
recommend a better source for custom intakes ?

Looks like a poor attempt to copy someone like Hogans sheetmetal intakes & a few more other companys custom intakes.

THe upper isnt the problem, its the lower intake usually. usually #1 & #5 lower intake runners.

THat guy does not look like he extensivly tests, and re tweaks his "creations". Ibet you see no gains....at best.

The combination is important, not just one part. A box intake on your stock engine is going to do nothing for you.

You need to find cheaper labor and spend the rest of the money on heads. How much do you have to spend $2100? or more than that? I'm half tempted to drive out to Reno and do the job for half of what you were quoted.

Do not get a box intake. Especially that junk in the link you posted.

i dont want to spend more than 2 grand, but if i dont find cheaper labor i think 2300, i want to try to get h/c and if i can inmtake for arround 1000 and spend the rest of my budget on labor

if i can get labor cheaper obviously ill get better parts

or if i can find some twisted wedge heads for 800 or so then ill worry about the c/i later on and do the heads as those are what i really want

but as for now its looking like gt40 with cobra lower/upper and havent decided on a cam with that combo

im off of the super box idea i take you guys at your word as im sure you all know far more than i do, thus why im always in here asking
