nut on a belt tensioner is sheared off
I have a 1988 5.0 that with a belt tensioner that has a nut that is sheared of on the pulley should I replace the tensioner or is there a way around that

just replace itm its much more easy and less time consuming.

I also noticed that they sell the pulley itself at autozone and kraigen how does the pulley come off

it comes off by taking the bolt out that holds it on. The easiest way is an impact, but if the head of the bolt is stripped then there is no way to get a socket on there. I would just be looking for a new belt tensioner.
