What is the best short throw?

I am pulling my tranny out in about two weeks so it can get rebuilt and am planning on installing a short throw shifter at the time...What one should i go with all my buddies with 5.0's say the steeda triax...but i have been hearing good things bout the pro 5.0 shifter and blue oval industries recommends it over any other shifter and has it on there project car(s)...so what one should i get both are reli close in price too... and suggestions are greatly appreciated

My friend had a steeda tri-ax in his car, and he seemed to like it. Ive heard a lot of great things about the pro 5.0 though to. Ive got a B&M and its alright, I liked my friends tri-ax better tho.

MGW or Pro 5.0 are the only bases I will run.

Personally, the Pro 5.0 base with a Hurst classic shifter suits my stubby arms well !

i have the pro 5.0 but its wore out and i dont like it that much....the screws have stripped a lil that mount the base to the handle so it vibrates loose....plus my sychros are gone so i cant really tell you how well it shifts....i think if i had to buy another one id go mgw

I hear a lot of good things about the MGW, but I've never so much as seen one in person. I have a tri-ax in the Cobra, and while it's night-and-day better than the stocker, I agree with comments that it's notchy.
