Question

The best electric cooling fan


Has anyone had any experience with the Black Magic extreme?Or is there a better fan out there?Any help will be appreciated.

There is no reason to get the extreme fan unless you have extra money you don't know what to do with. The part# 175 Black Magic fan will cool anything you throw at it. That fan cooled my 740hp small block and my 562rwhp blower car at any speed, on any road and at the race track.

With a big relay, big wires and a 3G alternator. Those Taurus fans draw alot of amperage.

why do i need a 3g alt? i just bought one and i dont think its a 3g

Because the stock alternator wont generate enough power to run that fan & all the accessories, etc sanely without one.

as long as its an upgrade over stock you should be fine....i always use a delta current controller to run my electric fans

X2, my bm fan does great on both of my 9 second rides.... and they see a good bit of street driving..
