Autometer fuel gauge help!

Hey everyone, i'm new here and lookin' for a couple quick answers if possible! I have a '90 LX and I just installed an autometer fuel level gauge and when driving the needle just bounces all around. Is there a way to combat this to make it read accurate without the bouncing?

Thanks for any help.

I will call autometer tomorrow about this problem. It's obviously the fuel in the tank bouncing around that is causing the needle to bounce. I was thinking these gauges came with built-in anti slosh modules but maybe they don't? Could I just be screwed?

It could also be your fuel sending unit that causes that. You might try one of the liquid filled gauges or read up on them. I think they were supposed to help.
