My car still smells like gas

I filled up on wendsday and my car still smells like gas. I have looked for leaks on the ground but cant find any leaks. Sometimes when I get gas, it will shoot back out and drip down in between and I usually always leave a small puddle there. But its never smelled this bad before.

check the gasket from the filler neck to the actual tank.

Check all the fuel lines (if you havent already). Also gas evaporates pretty quick after it hits the ground so if you have a slow leak...like only 1 drop every now and again you may just need to catch it at the right time

Last summer.

I thought I bought a new gasket when I bought the new tank. I will check up on the gasket. I got a little dizzy at one point driving on the highway.

if it was your tank im not sure that you would smell it inside on the highway. check the fuel rails, injectors, and FPR for a leak

Cut a hole in that line and duct tape it to the manifold bearing

I was gonna try gorilla glue and spit. Tank is draining now through a siphon a little bigger than a fish tank air line. Its the most time consuming part lol

This just gets better and better. Autozone, advanced auto, and oreillys dont carry it. I tried one from doorman only one side has a connection and the connection on one is the one I need but the hoses are not the same size. So I guess I have to go to a ford parts dealer. Right now I am not having any luck typing in "fuel line" at the oem site. Its the hose that doesn't go to the fuel filter so it the return line right?

yeah thats the return line. did a bracket or something break that was holding the line on? cause i dont think mine is anywhere near the exhaust

cut put a plastic rib connect'r with 2 hose clamps and clamp it up problem solved
