You'll have to disassemble the rear brakes to get the e-brake cable disconnected if you plan on reusing the e-brake with the new rear end.

i got some more bad news tonight. apparently when i was living at my moms and the car was sitting in the grass it started to take its toll. we also found some rusting starting in the drivers side quarter panel

Hurts to find stuff like that, I know my car has been ripped apart and im slowly putting it back together. And when you do a project like this, you seem to find stuff you wish you never did. Somtimes making you wish you never got that far into it.

On the other hand, if you feel like backing out of the project, ill take all those pretty parts off your hands and put them in my car If you dont, well good job! Ill post a picture of where my car stands and where I have found rust (not tryin to hijack thread of course)

My car without the motor was still less then stock ride height of a fox. My car is slammed. I doubt you will have rubbing issues if thats your concern.

no i am not worried about rubbing. i will still have the height adjustment of the coilovers. i was just trying to get an idea if it was lower or not bc of the drop spindles

the front end is pretty much done with mock up except for putting the brake pads in and the other bumpsteer/ tire rod arm on.

8.8 with disc brakes. the disc brakes are of no use to me nor are the axles so i will probably try and sell them

another look with the new rims. i also took some time and lowered the jack stands to get an idea of what it would look like

full car shot with the 17in 00-02gt rims

i picked up an 8.8 i have to get it cleaned up and then have to take it to bivins race cars to get that 9in ends put on axle tubes welded up and then assembled.

after that the car will be a roller again. i will put the team z rear suspension under and then take it back to bivins to have the through the floor subframe connectors, weld up the torque boxes a chromoly trans mount and a little front end tweaking
