i got some work done on the car today. i managed to get almost all of the sound deadening out of the car and just mocked up the hood and trunk lid today. the trunk lid looks like its going to fit damn well but the hood on the other hand the hood is still cheap.

ive finally about got all of the sound deadening scrapped out. i just have a little around the driver and passenger foot area. i been trying to work on that as much as i can along with getting the car back on the ground. Basically its finally ready to go to bivins race cars here in town for some chassis work.

thru the floor subframe connectors, reinforced torque boxes, and a couple of other things

one thing to add but a little late, Dry ice is your friend when you want to get that sound deadner stuff up.

got the car pretty much ready for tomorrow. raised the front end up to make it easier to get onto the trailer, put rear end fluid in it and my friend was kind enough to let me have the shock mounts off HIS car but i kind of broke one of the bolts :whistling:

actually i talked to the chassis guy. he brought up a cheaper way of mounting the fenders instead of the dzus rails. he is going to make some small brackets that i can just bolt the fenders to.
