308, serious question though. Realisticaly, what would you do over/change? I realize your building this to be the lightest car you can. But I think with all the lightweight expensive parts you could have built a pretty nasty motor for it.

I agree, the build sounds great. I'm sure its gonna be an awesome car. But it does seem like saving some money on lightweight, but expensive components and putting it into the motor would've gotten pretty much the same result.

i probably could have already built an engine but my thing is when the car finally comes out i want to be beat the ever living jesus out of it and not have to worry about breaking anything. my last car i built i was worried about the axles, the trans etc

I don't think you are going about it all wrong at all. You build a big, bad motor, and shit breaks and such, plus this gives you the perfect platform for a someday motor if you so choose. Then you're not worried about 'well, I need more suspension parts, etc'.
