Subframe connectors. That should be the first suspension mod done to these cars. And while you're under the car welding, do the torque boxes too.

Thru floor frame connectors for sure. Are you putting a roll bar or roll cage in the car? If so then do the frame connectors and roll cage at the same time. It makes everything alot easier.

Agreed, on the torque boxes I'm surprised no one recomended them with the peices you bought... And what about a motor or tranny? I don't remember reading anything about that yet?

man, with that much suspension work, even a modest motor setup should get you close to needing a cage.

where are you from sleeper?

KY.
i thought you needed a cage if you run a 11.49 or faster? i wouldnt know what to think if it ran that fast.
i mean a stock motor is what 190rwhp? and then 2700lbs race weight it would be nice. i can already hear the BS comments coming if thats the case

hmm didn't know you were planning on using the stock motor, I thought I saw some aftermarket pistons and crank.. so i assumed you were building the motor.

No way in hell a stock 5.0 will hit 11.49 LOL Maybe with a very generous nitrous setup

without the motor tranny fuel cell, i'm sure you know all this, you're going to be setting up that suspension twice it seams. But another question... are you planning on running stock heads, cam, etc.? Just seams like with you going all out on susp. maybe you want to spread the loving to the "heart"? just wondering... Great build though, I'm not trying to take away from it in any way.

i have been talking to some of the serious racers and some who race in the Factory stock class. One of them thinks that my car when complete should run low 11's and others think that it will run mid 11's all day long. This is NA and with a stock motor!
