Make sure all your grounds are nice and tight... no joke, the ones just above the headlights where the hood prop sits, if those aren't tight or have good contact that could be the source of your problem... GL

I'd go with relays and overwattage bulbs if the relays aren't enough. A lot of the HID kits throw out the extra light in random directions rather than where you need it.

Silverstars FTL.
In my opinion, they may be "slightly" brighter in tests but nothing you would notice in real life AND, they have a rated life of about 150 hours compared to regular halogen bulbs that are usually rated for about 1500 hours. Add in the fact they are usually $10-25 more per pair so in the long run they have an effective cost of about 15x to 20x more than the Slyvania Xtra-Vision bulbs. I ran several pairs in the past and got an average of 3 months before they burned out. One trip, one burned out about 2 hours after the other one and I had to use my high beams. Maybe they've changed in the last year or so but I will never waste my money on those overrated overpriced POS Silverstar bulbs again.

Sorry about the rant

deffenitly check the grounds it makes the world of difference. you should not have to wire in a relay thats trying to fix a symptom to a problem insted of fixing the problem. and trust me 50% of the time fixing a symptom uausally leads to a much worse problem. its like taking a pill for a headach but the side affect is dihrrea, runny nose, blood clots, and aids.......well at least the headach is gone right......

It is not my bad luck, they are rated by Slyvania for roughly 150-180 hours average life and from my experience, that is pretty accurate. You must be significantly beating the averages or you do not drive at night

OSRAM SYLVANIA - SilverStar
The car I had them in took an H4 which was 150 hrs, the 9004 for the Fox is 180 hours. "More Info" under the specific bulb shows the specs.
