Running like crap...

Last week my 88 starting going beserk! Spitting, sputtering, bucking and just plain out dyeing. It would do this at random times. Ran the codes and it came back the TPS. Instead of just going out and buying a new one I checked the voltage on it to make sure. It was bad. Bought a new one Sat. and put it on. Ran great for all of about 10 mins. Beat my head against the wall all day Sat. trying to figure it out. After my headache went away yesterday I thought about the fuel pump. I put a gauge on it and guess what? Yep! Its bad too. Theese things run like shit when you only have #12 of pressure.

Good find... ^ not a bad idea to upgrade while you'll have it apart

Unfortunately, no. I wasnt able to upgrade at this time (VERY short on funds). But, thats ok. This is my DD and it wont see a lot of performance upgrades that will require a bigger fuel pump.

The pump did show up at the house today tho. Dont ya just love parts houses that will still deliver? I wasnt able to put it on today but I will tomorrow after work.
