Transmission Issues again
WEll after having the engine in for the third time with the tranny, I had to pull them again to fix a piece in the tranny. So now im trying to get the converter bolted up, and im having a hell of a time. The converter does not want to spin so i can align it with the flex plate.
Here is how far i got the converter in. ![]() ![]() ![]() Does that look normal? Also what type of force should it take on the crank bolt to turn the engine over with the spark plugs in? This is a brand new motor that has never been run, so its tight, its also got 11.5:1 compression in it. Thanks im near 75 foot pounds and wondering if that is close. The motor had been primed oil wise twice now (both times ready to fire it up) it reads 70 PSI of pressure with the drill on it. Thanks
