Question on Replacing Rear Main Seal

Hey guy, im about to replace the rear main seal for a new one ( Since the clutch and tranny are out and it leaks a little bit ) But i was wondering what seal i should go with, they have all kinds, rubber, silicone, Teflon and much more. But what would work best, or get the job done? Ive never had to do this on a car before so i know nothing.

Also should i get a 1 piece or 2 piece seal? And will i have to take off the oil pan or anything i should know of for steps or anything to help?

Heres a like to the summit page with all the seals on them, but i see no 2 piece one when i type in my year ( 87 mustang ) But i dont know if i even want that. But im just asking for a little help on what i should get, and wither to go 1 or 2 piece and if i have to take off the oil pan or anything else. Sorry i always ask questions But i really appreciate the help, so thanks a lot guys!

Here the link. I dont know whats good and whats junk....

Ford or regular fel pro rubber should work fine. That teflon will probably last forever but may be easy to damage when installing it. I have no idea which one would be the absolute best for you. I have used the timken seals that autozone sells in a pinch and they hold up to plenty of abuse.

+1 You will not have to remove the oil pan to replace it. You wheel be able to get to it after you take the flywheel off.

Ok cool well it shouldnt be too bad then, hopefully.

Also do i have to worry about it leaking if i nick it just a bit?

If so should i go with something stronger, rubber?
