front end shifted DAMN!!


i have a 89 5.0 5 speed my dad raced these for years an he looked at it and said the front end shifted a little.i really love this car an don't wanna get rid of it so how much would it cost to get the front end fixed? or is it even worth it? if the front end "shifted" as you say without any accidents, then your car shouldnt even be repaired.

Front end as in the nose of the car or front end as in the rack and suspension? Definitally need some more details.

i mean the unibody shifted wen it got hit.it shifted to the right.now i cant open the passenger door.i'm getting it fixed tho i don't wanna get rid of the car.the front end of the car well the frame.is off to the left.i gotta get it realinged at a body shop guy told me $420 so that's pretty good.look up top i posted a link so u can see the pics.click on em to make em bigger

Did you wreck it? What kind of accident was it in?

Looks like the whole front end moved back and towards the passenger side. That should straighten out pretty good though.

it was wet out the other day an i was going in to 3rd an wen i got on the gas the car got side ways.i freaked an held the clutch in an hit the brake.did a 360 an the driver side front turn signal marker hit the corner of a tree.i made the 1st mistake. when a car starts to slide u never ever get on the brake.but the guy at the body shop said 6hrs of frame work an it'll be like new.so i'm getting that done.

Its very repairable. It will need to go to a frame shop to straighten the chassis out before you do anything else.

yea im going in about 2weeks.i wanna get that done an get a gt so i can have the body work done at the same time an get it painted,bud i cant find anyone with a gt kit an hardware for sale
