Power Pipe?


is the power pipe really that great? everyone i talk to say it is but am not sure if it is worth it...yes or no?

again depends...a restrictive pipe could hold back alot of power and andersons is the best out there

Everyone I have ever Installed has done its job!!!! and that help make more power. I have seen them make up to 30 more hp on supercharged cars... but you can make one really easy...

I have an Anderson on the suction of my Vortech. I can't compare it to something else because it is the only pipe I've had on it.

Big 4" pipes like Anderson's are worth it in my opinion. It doesn't have to be an Anderson, you can make your own if you can weld and have access to 4" mandrel bent pipe. I've known guys that have dyno Anderson's pipes and picked up anywhere from 10 to 15 horsepower at the tires. The little 3" cold air intake kits like BBK, MAC, etc aren't really worth a damn other than cleaning up the engine compartment. If you are going to spend the money, get the Anderson pipe.

JLT makes a great 4" CAI as well. 4" definitely lets the motor breathe.
