rockers

Just got done with the springs, which wasn't to hard... but sucked none the less. Either way, back to putting the rest back together. I want to intall the rockers 100 percent right this time around.

What is the exact process, and tq specs in doing so?

e7 rockers nothing special, gt40p heads, stock rockers blah blah blah.

You got to adjust the rockers on the correct lobe of the cam... Meaning you will have to do the exhiast valves right when the exhaust lifter/pushrod starts to move up. And you do the intake when the intake valve is starting to close... I don't have exact torque specs though.

You have to torque them on the right part of the cam though still.

Sweet. after doing the valvesprings on the car and slapping the rockers and everthing on does it matter were the bottom end since, since the valves were done with the rockers off?

Or can I just put her back togethr and crank it up?

Replacement phead springs... nothing more nothing less. So pretty much the stockers just stronger.

I did the swap with the head on the car. I did the roped trick, compressed the springs and swapped out the springs retainers and locks with the new ones. I followed the firing order. This involved cranking the motor over by hand and I was wondering if it matter were the bottom end was when I go to fire it up for the first time.

nah, can't trust these loaded guns. I'll find a spec and make sure the pushrod can still spin and go from there.
