Removing the EGR valve
I want to remove the egr valve do I have to plug the vacume line and what do I do with the plug?

egr valve... the vac line that runs from it to the round plastic thing on the pas side shock tower is the egr solenoid which you won't need if your disabling the egr system so yank it as well.

You gonna remove just the egr valve or are you gonna delete the egr spacer between the TB and Plenum? You can get a cover that will use the existing bolt holes and fill the gap so you don't have a vacuum leak.. You could just leave it on the car and unplug the vacuum to the egr valve so that it will not open.. It won't trigger your check engine light to come on, but will show code 33 in a diagnostic test..

get an EGR simulator and EGR delete plate. Looks much better.

If you don't get the plate, then you have to leave the spacer on there, which kind of makes the delete pointless.

i have the spacer and simulator. should i also remove all those solenoids and vaccum hoses on the shock tower too?
