I just got my shifter & trans cooler 4 my Lentech AOD. I went with the B&M Pro-Stick with the magnum grip & wow this thing is awesome!! Cant wait to bang gears like a mofo with this thing!! The tranny cooler I want all you guys that run a modified or fully built automatic like myself. This thig is sooo worth the $100 + shipping=$114.99.. Dual pass copper&brass with a Spal fan.. I just bought one from a junk yard off a mid to late eighties f150 with the tow package, pressure tested it in my tub, cleaned it and painted it black.

Its nice and big with 1/2 npt openings on it.

I know u can get them from a junk yard, I just wanted 2 show people that its not alot of $$ for a superior unit. Its not often that u find something really nice 4 a good price.. I just spent $4550 on a Lentech Strip Terminator AOD & I did not want 2 use a junkyard cooler on it.. Good luck with yours though it should work fine with what u have...

hey i want to get a b&m shifter for my aod too. when i do, can i shift through all the gears or does 2 and 3 still share???

Well my Strip Terminator AOD besides being fully built it has a manual valve body which if u don't know I have 2 shift through the gears. There is no just put it in drive on mine. Now as far as what u r talkin about & someone correct me if I'm wrong cuz I'm not fully up 2 speed on automatics this is my first 1. It's my understanding that your tranny I'm guessing is pretty much stock shares the 2-3 gears on the D..? That I think is due 2 the way the valve body is designed & as the engine revs the pressure in the tranny increases causing the upshift. My setup because it's a racing trans is designed so the line pressure is fixed along with the manual valvebody I have 2 manually shift mine. So what I'm thinkin is that u will need a different VB in order 2 do what u want. I don't think just a shifter will achieve that.. He'll while your puttin in the valve body might as well freshin the thing up also put in a shift kit & converter ect.. I don't know how much power u r makin but just like any stock or mostly stock tranny might not live 2 long with just a VB, converter, shift kit.. But hey ya never know..!!!

thanks thats what i thought i would have to do. I just had my tranny fully rebuilt with shift kit and upgraded stall, so ill just wait till i build my 331 and throw a manual VB in it.
