Im Stuck - How do i get this Rear Main Seal out??

Ok sorry but im stuck, i was trying to read up on it online, but i cant get this old rear main seal out. They said use a screw driver to pry it out but i cant get deep enough to pry it loose. Its in there quite snug.

I was wondering if there are any other ways or methods that i can get it out? I was told i wouldnt have to drop the oil pan or anything, and the motor is in the car now, and i have the Tranny, Clutch, flywheel all off. I can see it, but i cant get it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! - Joe.

a little trick i use is screw a screw into the seal then pry against the head and it pops right out..... hope it works for you

well you can use a hook and pull it out, go around the seal and break it loose, or you can go to autozone and get a tool to pulled it out for free if you dont have 1
