The stock head have roughly a 45 deg angle for the plugs whereas the "P" heads have a lack of this angle, as it's more like 20 deg. Thus, it creates clearance for the primary tubes on some headers

Ok so they really have less angle then. It's been a while since I messes with ford heads but I thought they were all angled. Thanks for the explination.
