ignition problem
Since a couple days ago my ignition key cylinder hasn't been staying on the key on position. I have to hold it or it will come back too much. And when I start the car I have to bring the key back to position slowly or it will go back too far and kill the car. My first thought was that the ignition cylinder was just goin bad so I bought a new one tonight and it's still doing it. I took the ignition back and bought a ignition switch but I'm waiting to put it in tomorrow morning. I just want some advise as to what it would be because the switch is the only thing I can think that would be wrong and affect the key position like that. Any input? And does anyone know what kind of bit I need to get the old one off? It looks like a torx but it has a little bulge in the middle on the bolt.. thanks

How many problems do you have with that car.....???
Just replace it..... Use some vise grips for the old bolts

Most torx bits have a hole in the middle of them.. If u dont have one most parts stores carry them there not much at all.. But it sounds like the ignition switch is gone.
