pushrods and cam with holley heads
I'm rebuilding my '86 GT and have the holley heads. I was wondering if anybody on here has used or has holley heads and if they were able to use stock pushrods or if they needed a different size. Was also wondering what would be a good cam to use with this. I have the flat top forged pistons that came in the 86 but was gonna change them because i didn't know what kind of lift they could handle. Any info would help, thanks.

Unfortunately for you that w/ those pistons running any kind of agressive cam will give you PTV clearance issues. An adjustable pushrod checker is the only true method of coming up with the correct length for your particular setup.
