alternator for electric fans

switching to two i believe 12 inch electric fans and a better radio system (video/nav deck)

will a 100amp alternator be sufficient or do i need to go 140 or even 3g ?

anyone using one of these kits or have heard anything about these kits
86-93 5.0L MUSTANG COMPLETE RADIATOR UPGRADE KIT FOR MANUAL TRANSMISSION MUSTANG

also, thinking about switching to a electric water pump, would like to get one less pulley on my belt and like the minimal look

the better deck shouldn't draw that much more power than the stock unit (assuming you're not running an amp), and the fans shouldn't be on that often (especially in Reno).

I would think that so long as you don't have UDPs, the 100amp should be fine.

I'm not sure what the extra load of the electric water pump would be; hopefully someone that's running one can chime in.

My very unfounded suggestion would be to bump up to the 140.

+1 3g runs my two electric fans. No stereo or electric water pump though. Depending on what kind of fans you use that will make the biggest difference on what amperage you need. the water pump shouldn't pull much and the stereo hardly any at all. If you run an amp then just ad a good 5 farad capacitor and that will keep up with your stereo without killing the car

Most electric water pumps only draw around 10 amps.. Some such as csr pumps only draw like 6

Go with a 3G. Easy upgrade.
