no i have heard of people using ducting that runs from the filter down to the fog light, then using mesh screen over the fog light, just wondering if it would be restrictive when not driving at high speeds

fenderwell will work better, the fog light is a longer distance with more bends

I've done it with dryer ducting on a few GTs. I believe the size is 6".

yes i found a write up online how to make it with dryer ducting
my questions is the por and con fenderwall seems like the filter will be less restricted because its not inside of a enclosed cylinder, but here in reno i would be kicking up a lot of crap all over my filter the ram air seems like a good idea but will it hurt the air flow because the filter is inside an enclosed cylinder, will it pull good air when im not on the freeway

Just be careful mounting your filter down that low. Driving in a down pour could end up bad..

Use the flexible tubing, not that stuff in the pictures. You will be glad you did.

I did one with the flexible aluminum drier duct years ago on my stock GT. It did not help my 1/4 time or speed at all but the car was completely stock including the paper air filter so maybe that's why. I did notice that the duct was great at picking up bugs, leaves, and cigarette buts though.

I used the stock air box with a K&N panel filter. With an open filter you will just be wasting your time. You need it to be sealed otherwise there will be no ram air effect.

i am thinking of doing this on my fox, i was also thinking of making another one on the driver side to cool my MSD 6AL box down, make a box that surrounds the MSD box and connect the pipe to feed it fresh air...(just an idea) i should just put it inside the cabin and out of the engine bay...
