Just ordered the 347 kit....

Just ordered my 347 stroker kit from Probe and should have it next week. My original plan was just bore the block .030 over and put in the new probe pistons. Then I was thinking 331 because I have a Vortech also going on it. Well, after reading and taking the advice of many on here, I went with the 347.

The car has been sitting for a few months and cant wait to start getting it back together again.. I’ll keep ya posted as things move along.. I plan on taking lots of pictures of the build.

This is what I'm putting it in..

Thanks. I'll be taking pictures along the way. Already have the motor and tranny out of the car. Got all the wires run inside the fender and painted the engine compartment.

The car was painted when I bought it so I didnt paint all the trim. It will be black later down the road but first I want to get it back running. I put the rims on but didnt put the caps on yet.. Its getting there, just a work in progress.

I went form just refreashing the motor, to now a 347 and supercharged... Cars get exspensive fast!!!

Still need to post the pictures of the turbo drag radial car my buddy is finishing up, It is looking sweet!

My original thought was a 331 but everyone assured me that I would love a boosted 347 and would not have any issues so thats what I went with... Should be here next week.
Cant wait! My car has been sitting for 4 months now, getting tired of going to the track to watch everyone else..

Door bell just rang a little bit ago and I wasnt expecting anyone to stop by. I open the door and to my surprise it is the UPS guy with my Stroker kit... Man that was fast! I was expecting sometime next week.

So off tomorrow to my engine builder so he can get the block bored. I just cant wait to start getting this thing back together..

I know Fordstrokers.com gets good reviews on here and I might have gone with them but I already had a deal worked out at Probe and I must say that they are fantastic and really went out of the way as far as customer service for me. As far as customer service, I would recommend them to others.

I might be giving Jay a call as far as a cam goes. About how long does it take for him to grind a cam??

And yes stock block... Not sure on how much total boost as of now but I was sure to get the "loud" vortech and a pop-off.. I like the whine!
