When will I know to rebuild this... I know this is a weird question but I'm an insomniac and stay up at night thinking about weird stuff, and seeing as how I'm thinking about some 3.73's I figured I'd research my diff a little more

Hmmm kk. My car will spin tires, but for some crzy reason I cant ever find tire marks. Weak ass car. Little gears.. Combination of both haha

Yea pretty much when you get the one wheel peel, get on some dry parking lot and it should leave two stripes behind...

rebuild kits (clutches) are pretty cheap, Go ahead and freshen up the diff when you swap gears

whats a good rebuild kit for my stock 89 lx

found a good ford racing rebuild kit with carbon fiber plates for about 120

I followed Ryan's write-up when i did mine and it's about as helpful as it gets, I also rebuilt mine with the carbon fiber clutches, works awesome

Did you use 3 or 4 clutches?
