My pony Smokes sometimes

Ok when i gun it it'll create a good amount of smoke then stop and does it on occasions mostly when cold. What could this be?

BTW while i got ya attention i am gonna do a compression test in a couple days(borrowing the tester). Whats the range for good compression in PSI?

Greyish white smoke is oil.... brown or dark smoke is usually fuel.

Look for balanced numbers when you do your compression test. Don't be concerned with really high numbers.

Yeah i think it is fuel. its dark and just got a good wiff of it today and smells like gas. What could be causing this??

thought blue was oil and grey or white was coolant?

White smoke, more white I suppose, in any situation, brownish black smoke is the total opposite. Check the plugs. Get an fpr guage and see were fuel pressure is at.

Check for codes.
