EFI to Carb?

I have been told that carbs have potential to make more HP than EFI and for a cheaper price as well. Is this true and would it be worth it to switch my 5.0 from efi to carb. currently has a cobra intake(upper+lower) stock throttle body and injectors. I was thinking an Edelbrock Victor Jr. manifold with a Holley 4150 street 750 cfm carb.

That answer goes both way. Do carbs make more power? Sometimes. Does EFI make more power? Sometimes. It sounds like you have a pretty mild combination which will not benefit from a carburetor. If the car is driven on the street often I personally would never even consider a carburetor. EFI is too nice.

Keep in mind efi adjusts for temp, humidity, density, etc. Carb is tune, then go. depening on conditions u may have to tune often with carbed.
