Want more power
I have a 1995 Cobra Svt. It is basically still stock with 90k miles on it, I bought it for 4200 about 2 months ago and it runs very strong. I was wondering what would be the best and easiest mods to start with. I don't know a lot about cars and I would really like to learn about them. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

well, start with the cheap and small things first ie (bolt ons) doing this will save you money in the long run because you have to make up your mind on what your final goal is with the car, so if u go and start buying big things and then u have to buy something else, ur throwing money away,
start with: Intake Exhuast maybe some pulleys Gears wont make u any power but itll give ur cobra some get up and go! (the cobras come with some decent gears stock so look into what u already have) drop some unnessary weight advance the timing a few degrees a good tuneup MSD ignition products will help

What is it that you want to do with the car? Drag racing? Corner Carving? Show it? Something else?
Your goal will greatly influence what mods will be effective for you, and which will be counterproductive. If you're going for any sort of performance driving, I highly recommend a set of full-length subframe connectors. Maximum Motorsports would be my vendor of choice, though there are other reputable manufacturers that offer similar units. The only reason I can think of to NOT have SFCs is if you're trying to keep your car all-original, or are competing in a class that doesn't allow them.

What should I take out exactly to remove weight. I'm planning on putting a intake on in 2 weeks or so when I finally get the money for it.

A lot of people talk about removing the spare tire, I don't like that as these cars are front heavy, and removing weight from the rear just exacerbates the problem. More weight in the rear gives you better traction. I'm shocked no one's mentioned gears yet, though.

Have you done a regular tune up on it? I would do that, then put a cai in (K&N air filter).. advance the timing, then look at what needs improvement next.

And it's an SVT Cobra, not a "Cobra SVT". "Ford SVT" is a brand, "Mustang Cobra" is a model made by that brand. The way that you have it written it looks like "SVT" is a trim level.
Sorry, that's just one of my pet peeves... it's like saying "I drive a 1990 GT Mustang".
