That is the new design piston that I posted. Like you said, this piston has material above the pin, most dont. I was at my engine builders yesterday and he had some pistons that had nothing above the pin, and it was a high horsepower engine... No blow by or oil burning...

I posted these pictures just to show those that have never seen a 347 piston and now I want to sit back and see the rumors fly!!!!

Rumors are great. They make the stupid look stupider. Like they say, "its better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". I'm sure your engine will burn 1 gallon of oil a day and explode the pistons out of the side of the block due to the "side load" from the "rod ratio".

Yeah, I'll have to wear my bullet-proof vest when I drive it.....

I'm not sure whats going to louder, my supercharger or the pistons slapping in the cylinders????

I'm going to ask Santa for a couple cases of oil for Christmas..

people buildin dat der 347 engine outta use a chebby tree fiddy piston in der setup so wernt burn na oil and blown up.
