It's amazing how much a difference gears makes. My friend's GT with 3.27's feels like a slug compared to mine. His is an AOD but there is still a huge difference. He drove my car before the oil pump went out and he said he was scared of it lol

3.31 to 3.55 are 7%
3.55s to 3.73 are 5%

so then the hop from 3.31s to 3.73 are about 12%.

My first fox I went from 3.08's to 3.73's and it was a huge difference in seat of the pants feeling but like said on those nice weekends that I would cruise down to the shore it sucked.. second and fourth foxes I put 3.55's in and is still enough to help but not soo high on the rpm's. I don't have to be in the slow lane with the 3.55's although this is on manual cars.

With an AOD i'd do 3.73's no doubt.

On my turbo car I have 3.73's and it's actually hurting me.. I need to jump down to 3.55's or lower when I can.
