couple questions

id really like to get in the 12.5-13.5 range in the quater id i need a good hooking tire, id really like to run the nitto street slicks the 555rs but i dont really wanna pay the hefty price the pony wheels are 16s right im not at my house right now but i wanna get some stuff ordered tonight, also i wanna buy a couple other things to help get in that time frame, shorty headers, fuel pressure regulator, and a 75mm throttle bottle. yall think i should go that route or what? i was told when i bought the car it had 3.73 gears, catback exhaust, a mild cam, underdrive pully, bbk cold air intake, and the exhaust ports ported? any help would be great thanks

Don't waste your time or money on Nittos. Nittos are junk. You can find use Pony wheels for $50 a piece or less all over the internet and run some 26x8.5-16 slicks or ET Streets. Or find some some turbines and run a 26x8.5-15 slick. With your current set up and slicks you will run mid to low 13s if you have a 5 speed and can drive it.

Just fyi, I ran nitto 555's on my imports forever.. Had an rb20 240sx..

The ONLY way to get them to work is to literally cook them.. im talking very long burnouts to get them hot. I was pulling 1.86 60ft times on those.

Switched to a hoosier, light burnouts and got 1.80 60ft times on those.

Went to a m/t dr and went down to a 1.75 all day long.
