I have dropped the steering shaft before and it didn't look that bad.

Is what necessary? The pedal swap? No but its not very complicated either. It looks harder than it is. I always take the dash completely out. That makes it easy to get at everything.

I've donr it and I didnt have to drop the steering shaft just a lot of time on your back under the dash making very small turns with a wrench, you might need help getting out when your done

Just did a 5 speed swap on a 00 gt we just dropped the column and took the driver seat out and just laid on my back

fuck quadrants, pedal swaps etc without dropping the column or pulling the dash. I'm way to fat for that ish

dash out ftw, just like i always pull the seat out do install clutch cable and quadrant. four bolts with an air rench to save my back totaly worth it
