IMO 4" is too big, but i do like the 3" on the fox bodys. if you have the time and patience just buy the cowl off of jegs or e-bay and put it in your current hood. their only about 100-200 for the cowl. me and my buddy did it on his camaro it wasnt that bad at all.

The Cervinis 4" is really nice looking and doesn't look as high as it is. I've run that hood in the past. I have a 4" Glastek hood now that looks alot bigger than it really is. Here are a couple pictures. The blue car is a Cervini's 4" and the black car is a Glastek 4".

I like that cervinis 4" hood Darrel. The goal i am trying to acheive with the look is. To me my car looks like it is fuller in the back then sharpens to more of a point towards the front.........Giving it that hood would make it look meaner and the stance more intimadating i belive. 4" should be perfect, finding one cheap is the hard part.

I like the glastek 4" myself. Were you able to use your hinges with that one or do you have to use hood pins. Also, does the cowl come over the wiper cowl, all the way to the windshield or does it stop at the wiper cowl?

go with the four inch I went two and a half and it is barely noticable. If you want the lowest price go to cincinnati composits. I drove to cincinnati from port huron michigan to get my hood to avoid shipping charges and mine only cost me $229 and the gave me one with the show liner at no extra charge because i drove so far it was a little rough but it just took a little prep

its a pulloff hood thats uses pins bossman. It doesn't go all the way to the windshield, stops at the wipers. I found one on ebay for 163 + shipping which is 92 outragous. Maybe a long drive would be good for me lol.

It uses the stock hinges and latch. Fits real nice. It does not come over the cowl so windshield interference is not an issue. There is a ledge inside the cowl part of the hood that holds 2 5/8 Autometer gauges and gauge cups like they are meant to be there.

+1 the 95 cobra R style hood is my favourite, i know it's just personal tastes really but for a cowl i wouldn't go bigger than 2.5" ...just stay away from cheap knock off companies, although i haven't seen EVERY brand up close and personal, so far cervinis is the way to go IMO.
