theres a hesitaion when i hit the gas??


i just bought a 93 notchback that has a 302,trw pistons,built heads , cam,headers,bbkhpipe ,750 pro form race series carb,victor jr intake, aluminum valve covers,bbk pullys,k&n filter,2 stage nitrous with purge,msd pro buillet dist,msd box,msd soft touch box,msd timming retard box,flamming river manual rack,qa 1 tubular k member with a arms, caster plates,coil overs,borg warner 5 speed tranny ,king cobra clutch,fire wall adjustable quadrant,b&m pro shifter,narrowed 8.8 rearend,373 gears,moser axels,moser c clip eliminators,tubular control arms,3 way adjustable drag shocks,frame ties,harwood fuel cell,optima batterie in trunk,holley fuel pump,holley regulator,braided fuel lines,6 pt roll cage,automter vent gauge with fuel and nos pressure,5 inch monster tach with recall,weld wheels , 15x10 in back and 15x4 in front ,prob for getting some things , also comes with xtra prats for it , a lot invested in car .will need paint and body work and it will be set,also has a 5 inch glass hood.

when i press the gas theres a hesitation. it def looses power. once it warms up it gets a little beter but still has it what could it be?? maybe getting too much or to little fuel?? its still drivable but not getting the power i want

its your carb... off idle stumble usually indicates a lean condition(not enough fuel) what you can try is experiment with different accelerator pump discharge nozzels(squirters) and different accelerator pump cams. there is no magic formula to tell you exactly what you need. it all depends on your engine size, idle rpm, cam profile, ect. it took me about 3 hours to finally get mine right.
