We could talk about the same item on our cars and eveyone will have a different opinion on it from good to bad. There are so many different factors when it comes to determining parts for a cars that its just trial and error. I paid 25 for my procomp fan and its been working great. The only difference i have over someone that paid 150 for a fan is that i paid less. Works exactly the same. Just like when i did my 4cyl conversion. Some idiots say you need to replace the stock K member because its different. Well according to Ford they are the same peice. My buddy decided to get new MSD coil packs on his cobra because he read some reviews that they made huge differences and some said they didnt notice a thing. We he put them on and we didnt noticed one difference. He's even getting the same gas milage. You read on here some people hate mac headers and they are the worse things ever. Then a couple post later you'll read something about the same headers and how great they are and that person not having any troubles. It is nice to hear what other people have done which will give you great ideas but it all comes down to personal preference and what works with your car.

Very true, but if im gonna spend some money anyways im gonna go with what get's best reviews or what i hear the best things about, granted i might get a pos that falls apart but thats always gonna be a possibility.

Some times you take a chance on something cheap and it lasts but 9 times out of 10 its gonna take a shit on you. And the more experience you have with different things ( like cheap parts and reliable parts ) lasting or failing the more you will lean towards the "name brand" i would rather spend and extra 100$ then have to replace it and put my time into working on my car instead of driving it to save a lil bit of cash.

You get what you pay for. That is a fact.

You have to take in consideration what your building your car for. Everyday drivers not much track time you can probably get away with cheaper parts since your not going to be beating the hell out of them. If your going to the track all the time and racing a lot then yeah i would buy the better stuff.

I agree but daily drivers also tend to sit in stop and go traffic more which to me would mean a better cooling system would be ideal.... just stay away from the proform shit it's a waste of time and money

You've got that backwards. It is more important for a daily driver to have quality parts. More miles, more stop and go traffic and you most certainly don't want your reliable car breaking down.

AMEN.

Daily drivers need a good cooling system to sit in traffic, good charging system for all your accessories, radio, all creature comforts, good brakes, good shocks to make it comfy, etc etc etc.

I tend to make both my cars reliable, but that's just me
