How do you know it was too much gear? The only way to tell is go to the track and see where your rpms end up at the stripe.....

How does less gear "feel" better? Because your accelerating slower?

Mind boggling...

i took it to the track with the 4.30's...and i was shifting into 4th as i was crossing the line so i'm sure i was losing some time...there are no 1/4 mile tracks around here.. only 8th mile so fuck if i went to a 1/4 mile i'd be finishing in 5th gear more than likely. as far as why i said it felt better because the car had a chance to let the motor stay in its power range...i only got on it once from 30 mph....before 30 mph with 4.30's had me at nearly 4000, and i shift at 5400.. with these in it at 30 i was at put me at 2900 so was perfect for the power range.
