MY grandpa just bought a 1989 mustang gt. It has full mac exhaust, etc all the good stuff. Anyway, the shock tower on the passenger side is pretty much got a hole the size of my fist through it. I don't know what to do about it. Is there a kit or anything I can get to fix it?
best bet is to cut the section you need off a parts car..
yeah that's your only option honestly.. and shock tower damage is something you want to try to avoid when purchasing a fox. I'd also check out the floor pans and shit if the shock towers are that bad rusted then you'll prob have other issues which might pan out that a 4 banger body swap might be in order
Well don't want to get any laughs or anything but..... lol. I fixed the floor pan with bondo chicken wire and lots and lots of duck tape lol. It holds together pretty good lol. It had 2 6 inch rust spots so I just decided to do the whole floor. My grandpa is letting me use this car because I broke my driveshaft and burned out my clutch in my 95 gt with a rousch 302 bored over to a 306 and etc done to it. So.... I am a little scared to driver it considering it has a 4.10 in the rear end.
