Check out Clutch Dynamics out of Lansing Mi. I just bought a 8 puck Ceramic CLutch from them for $286 shipped to the house with everything included. I'm running approx 425 Flywheel HP and I know of a couple people running 600+ RWHP with no issues. You're ale to slip it like a factory style clutch with good grip and without the "Light Switch" On and Off engagement of a Spec +3 clutch.

Quite a few other people on the Corral are running them with no problems so I thought I would give it a shot. I haven't heard anything bad about them yet and a few guys have been running the same clutch for a few years with no issues. If you want to find out more about them Google Clutch Dynamics and call to talk to Dan. He's the resident Mustang guy there. Really nice group of people with a small time shop.

Whats your setup for boost going to be?

My king cobra took 500 hp no problem on the street. At the track it did slip pretty bad launching it at 4000 rpms on MTs.

Do not go with a puck design clutch with no marcel spring on the street. It sucks, trust me. And it is way way more clutch than you need, harder on driveline parts.

Clutches are cheap to replace, transmissions and rear ends aren't. You can drive home on a burnt clutch, you can't drive home on a snapped input shaft.

The shock load is what kills transmissions not motor torque.

The shock load of a puck style clutch is huge in comparison to that of a standard full face marcel spring clutch.

Maybe 10,000 ft lbs vs. 1,000 ftlbs
