Question

when do you need c/c plates?


I,m getting ready to install Strange Eng.10 way shocks,struts and FMS-m-5300-c springs that lowers the car 1/2" and 7/8".Does anyone know if I'll need c/c plates?I'm running 245/45/17"tires will I have any rubbing issues?Any help will be greatly appreciated.Have a good one.

they say if you lower your car at all u will need them to get a true alignment....who really knows though..my car is lowered about 1" and there is no crazy tire wear after 15,000 miles soooooo....

they sure look cool though

Some people need them with c" springs but some people don't. I personally have never needed them and i've had them on two cars and presently on my daily driven hatch. No wacky tire wear yet and I just throw them on with new kyb gr2's and still dont' need them.

I think i'd do it just in case, then if you sell the car just take them off
