intake choice

so its time to purchase a new intake, a 650 speed demon is gonna sit on top of it, the car has a mild cam(unsure of exact cam previous owner didnt know either), i just installed bbk l/t headers, x-pipe and 40 series delta flow exhaust, what intake would best compliment the motor for a street/strip setup and i dont have money for a cowl hood "yet" so that is a factor

future plans are some twisted wedge heads for the car so would that need to be takin into consideration now for intake purchase

and it has a performer intake now but has the egr hole on the intake and i wanna do away with that and maybe get a better intake for performance

any help would be great thanks guys
