beat is in with a hammer on until it pops out. Line the new one up put the lug on the other side, and tighten it. It shoudl press it in. I did it without an impact gun.

When I did the same thing in an older blazer people recommended NOT to draw it through with a nut, as it will weaken it potentially and it should be pressed in or knocked through with a big hammer.
But im sure drawing it through would be work. |

I've used a nut and pulled them through on about 20 different lugs now.. none have which have broke.
Think about how many times a lug nut/wheel is ment to come off in a cars lifetime... it will be just fine. were not talking about tty head bolts here lol

same here i used a bigger nut and the original lug nut and drawed it in that way ive done way to many like that id say atleast 7 cars worth of studs i worked at just tires and the new guys would always screw all of them up

One note, spray it with pb blaster and if possible, put a nut on or put a socket over the stud and beat on that instead of the stud itself. It will prevent the end of the stud from mushrooming.

draw it in, but use a couple of washers to let it turn more freely.
